The McGinley Dynamic is an adaptive moving average that speeds up and slows down with the market instead of running at a fixed length. This ribbon stacks several of them and reads the spread, slope, and higher-timeframe alignment to classify the current regime — trending up, trending down, or ranging — and states plainly whether conditions favour trend-following or fading. The dashboard adds regime quality and confidence scores, ADX and ATR-percentile context, a chop-flip count, and how long the current regime has held.
